Mass Intentions

- What is a Mass Intention?
  
  Mass intentions are a long-standing tradition in the Catholic Church. It is usually considered that special graces are obtained for whom the Mass is said. Masses are offered for many reasons, for special intentions, the souls in purgatory, in remembrance for someone who is deceased, or in honor of a birthday or anniversary.
  If you would like to have a Mass said for one or more people, please fill out the Request for Mass Intention form, located on this page, or visit us at the Parish Office or email us (details below).
  Please note: St. Bernadette Church will try to honor the date you've requested, but we only have four available slots per Mass. If you do need a particular date, please call the Parish Office at (323) 293-4877 to confirm.
